Hey! I'm Stella

I build projects where medicine, engineering, and curiosity overlap. I've had an interesting path to where I am today, and I couldn't be more proud of it.

If you're wondering...

what I'm working on: I've always been big on inclusivity and equity. Right now, I'm working to bring this to Western's engineering students by co-chairing the EDID Committee. Alongside this, I'm working with Dr. Sree Ram Valluri and Professor Natalie Mathieson in the field of Gravitational Space Waves. For fun, I've been working on a few LLM-powered tools; one being a project to help learn music theory on the guitar!

where I come from: Being consistently curious, my goal has always been try every field I could to find what I enjoyed most. I've worked in fields from crypto banking to ML dev; Visual Arts to ophthalmology. But, I've now found my niche in combining all these fields, and just building with the end goal of helping people, even if its just a little bit.

where I'm going next: A major goal I have is to advance efforts towards inclusivity for students, especially in the STEM fields. It took me years to understand what truly makes a space inclusive, and I want to make life easier for students; to make a space in academia where they are given an equitable opportunity. Parallel, I want to travel, explore, and see what is unimaginable and be able to help anywhere, where I can
